Kris Thurgood started out as an elementary school educator. These days, she’s taking the quilting world by storm with her unique brand. Mike and Kris are the parents of four children. After Kris came to him with a dream, Mike was able to quit his job as an engineer to devote all his time to My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe. The Shoppe and all their employees have become like a family to them and their children. Mike and Kris have created a haven where creativity and friendships are their first priority.
