7 1/2’’(19cm) wide x 5 1/2’’(14cm)high x 2 1/2’’(5.6cm)
•39 – 3/4’’ (1.9cm) hexagons which you can find online.
•Assorted print scraps: 39 – 2’’(5cm) x 2’’(5cm) squares for hexagon panel
•Quilting cotton: fat quarter for the pouch side and back panel
•Quilting cotton: 1/2 yard for lining and binding
•Quilting cotton: 4 1/2’’ x 15’’ for zipper binding
•Foam Stabilizer: 1/2 yard such as Soft and Stable or Pellon Flex-Foam or Kimberbell Flexi Foam
•Zipper: at least 13’’
•Fabric glue stick
•#10 Big eye needle
•80weight applique thread such as Aurifil
•Optional leather tab: two(2) 1/2’’ x 3’’
•Optional D-ring: one set 5/8’’(17mm)
•Basic sewing supply, walking foot and 1/4’’(6mm)foot
•Optional Leather strap

Minki Kim lives in Southern California with her husband and three young daughters. A formally trained artist, she has always loved to draw, and when she discovered that she could draw with her sewing machine, she began incorporating her drawings in many of her projects, a technique she calls Sewing Illustration. Minki has a book “Sew Illustrated; 36 charming fabric and thread designs” (co-authored with Kristin Esser) from Stash Books. She contributes regularly to publications worldwide.
When not sewing, Minki enjoy capturing her kids and her quiet little town and trying to recreate through her fabric designs.
