Just a hint: Stabilizers are a smooth, woven or non-woven material which does not stretch when pulled.  It is every embroiderers dream.  Without a stabilizer, fabric doesn’t handle very well.  Another great reason to join The Stabilizer Lab!  You will become an expert on when and how you can use stabilizers.  Some fabric simply do not have enough support to hold stitches properly.   If you are going to put that much work into a project, the end result is important.

So put on your white coat and safety glasses.  Grab your recent projects and join the Girlfriends at the Lab.  You will be amazed at what a little stabilizer will do.

You can easily keep your stabilizers organized with these silicone coated, color-coordinating Stabilizer Slap Bands.  Just place these around your stabilizer to prevent unwinding.  Band colors coordinate with Kimberbell’s color coded embroidery stabilizers.

I loved the class. I’m going to take it again. So informative. really breaks down what stabilizer to use with what fabrics. Also the when, where and why is answered. Definitely a must if you question stabilizers

I’ve learned alot about stabilizers recently, and this lab was most helpful for the reasons why and when and what to use. so many questions that were answered in the class without asking. How important it is to use a stabilizer, and being able to look back for the replay is great too.
