If you’ve just unboxed your Brother ScanNCut, one of the first things you’ll want to do is register your machine. Registration connects your cutting machine to your CanvasWorkspace account, allowing you to transfer designs wirelessly and access certain features and pattern collections.

In the video, they walk through the simple process of linking your machine to your CanvasWorkspace account so everything communicates smoothly. Here’s how to do it step by step.

Registering Your Machine on Brother's Website

Step 1: Find Your Serial Number

Start by locating the serial number on your machine. You’ll find it on a sticker on the back of your ScanNCut machine.

This serial number is important because it uniquely identifies your machine when registering it online. It’s a good idea to take a quick photo of the sticker or write the number down so you have it handy during the registration process.

Step 2: Visit Brother’s Product Registration Page

Once you have your serial number, head to Brother’s product registration page by visiting brother-usa.com/register in your web browser. This is where you’ll officially register your ScanNCut machine with Brother. On this page, you’ll be prompted to log into your Brother account or create one if you don’t already have one. Registering your machine helps ensure your product is connected to your account and allows you to receive important updates, support, and information related to your ScanNCut.

Step 3: Register Your Product

Once you’ve logged into your Brother account, click on the “Register a Product” tab. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter the serial number from your ScanNCut machine. You’ll also fill in a few additional details, including the purchase date and where the machine was purchased. After entering the information, simply click Submit to complete the registration process.

If you’d like to see these steps demonstrated visually, be sure to watch our video where we walk through the entire registration process step by step. Sometimes it’s helpful to see exactly where to click and what the screens look like along the way.
