How to Care for Your Cutting Mats

TIPS FOR TAKING CARE OF YOUR MAT:
- Do not use iron on top of mat.
- Store in a flat position.
- Keep away from sun or hot car.
- Use different lines on mat when cutting multiple times.
HOW TO CLEAN & CONDITION YOUR MAT:
- Remove extra lint with a soft brush.
- Fill a large bin or bathtub with 1/4 cup vinegar and 1 gallon of cool water.
- Submerge mat and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Soft brush scrub with mild dish soap.
- Lay flat to air dry. (Remember, not in the sun!)
IF MAT HAS BEEN WARPED... NO WORRIES!
#1 TIP: Lay on a flat surface. Place wet towels across the bottom and top and press with a steam iron.
#2 TIP: Place heavy objects on top overnight.
#3 TIP: Don't be afraid to cut up mat and use in smaller chunks for smaller projects!
