Join us for GALAS 2026, where creativity sparkles Under the Stars! This in-person sewing and embroidery retreat celebrates friendship, inspiration, and the joy of creating together.

Throughout the event, you’ll enjoy dedicated open-sew time, allowing you to work on your own projects at your own pace, surrounded by fellow makers who share your passion. Between stitches, take part in demonstrations led by our talented team—showcasing new tools, tips, and techniques designed to inspire your next masterpiece.

Registration starts at 3:00 pm on first day and you will be set to start sewing until 11:00 PM. Join the girlfriends on the first night of your GALAS retreat on the Riverwoods patio for a Meet & Greet Social—a perfect opportunity to mingle, reconnect, and make new friends. Guests can drift from conversation to conversation while enjoying a beautifully curated assortment of hors d’oeuvres. The next two days enjoy open sew from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM with demonstrations throughout the day. The last day starts at 7:00 AM and start your final clean up at 2:00 PM. That's right! It's YOUR schedule! This is all about YOU and your sewing! 

GALAS will be held five times this year. Each event has room for 50 guests. So don't hesitate to book your reservation now for any one of the 5 GALAS! There isn't a bad time to visit beautiful Cache Valley! Register for one, or all five, if you desire! Bring a friend or come make a new one! Each event throughout the year will be the same demonstrations but you never know what fun activities we have up our sleeves! There will be new Girlfriends and what you work on is up to you!

Relax, laugh, and sew “under the stars” as you connect with a constellation of creative friends. Whether you’re finishing a quilt, starting a new embroidery project, or simply soaking up the community, this retreat is your time to shine!

🚩 Machines will be provided or you can bring your own: Machines provided will be similar to a Baby Lock Vesta or a Brother NQ3550W. The largest hoop size available on those machines is a 6x10 hoop.

Each guest will have their own 6-foot table with plenty of room to work!  Forget something, or looking for a new project? Our store will be open and available to purchase items, and we will even have a special early hours shopping! We will provide shared pressing stations and cutting stations.
