The Row by Row Experience is a fun program that’s been running since 2011 and was built for avid quilters and sewists who travel. The Row by Row Experience has a couple goals - make it easy for quilters to find local shops, and bring together quilters of all levels for inspiration and free patterns!
Row by Row Quilts are quilts made up of rows of quilt blocks or components with each row different from the others. This quilt style was embraced by the Row by Row Experience® in 2013 by Janet Lutz. The Row by Row Experience® is designed for quilters and shops alike.

Use the Row by Row List or Map to find participating quilt shops and visit them in person or virtually! And get excited to collect the unique patterns each store offers!
Don't worry if there are no participating stores near you! You can visit the stores virtually to find their unique rows as a kit! Free patterns are only available in store. (Patterns can only be sold online if it is part of a kit.)

This year we are offering a delightful springtime project that blooms with creativity! Let your fingers dance through fabric petals and leaves, crafting a piece that blossoms with every stitch!
This kit can be a table runner on it's own, or combine it with your other Row by Row kits that you collect at other shops to create a unique quilt!

Row by Row also offers an exhilarating challenge from July 1 - September 30, 2024!
Collect the patterns and fabric kits from participating locations, either in-person or virtually. Then, finish a quilt with 8 different 2024 Row by Row row designs! For your quilt to be considered "finished" it needs to be quilted, bound and labeled!
Hurry and get it done! If you are the first person to bring your completed, unique 2024 Row by Row quilt into a participating shop you can win a bundle of 15 fat quarters! Only one winner is allowed to win per shop, so call ahead to make sure you are the first quilter to finish and bring it in!
